The Melody Lane Restaurant on 2703 Douglas street. Built in 1947 at the roundabout at Douglas and Hillside. Featuring the Century room, coffee shop and car service Most people remember it as The Monterey but it was The Melody Lane first. Although it was short-lived it was a fancy place that held weddings and dancing.
