NATIONAL ROLLER GARDEN
Up until 1942 the National roller rink was where the Odeon theatre is. I assume all roller rinks back in this era were just an empty room but when I look back in time Roller skating was around as far back as 1885. Would love to have skated then.
National Roller Garden was one of Victoria. B.C’s first roller rinks. It was located on 756 Yates street where the Odeon theatre is now.
